to minimise cross contamination, make sure you isolate surfaces and use separate cloth for each isolated area ...
many special surface cleaners are simply diluted detergent (don't take our word for it; always check first, though) ...
products used in commercial cleaning MUST have data safety sheets, but those used in our homes don't!
